Who we are

Parthenon Accounting Ltd (company no. 15411246, registered office: Bartle House, Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ) is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@parthenonaccounting.com.

What we collect

When you get in touch through our contact form, booking link, or lead enquiry pages, we collect what you give us directly — typically your name, email address, phone number, and details about your business and what you need help with. We don't collect anything beyond what's needed to understand your enquiry.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where you've agreed, to contact you about services that may be relevant to your business. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you've made, and on your consent for any follow-up beyond that specific enquiry. We do not tick consent boxes on your behalf, and we don't use your details for anything you haven't agreed to.

Where it's stored

Enquiry details are stored in secure systems used to run our practice (including our email provider and a private records spreadsheet), and are only accessible to Jason Wright and anyone directly supporting the practice's operations. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and, if you become a client, as required by our professional and legal obligations. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we don't keep it indefinitely.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent to be contacted whenever you like. Email hello@parthenonaccounting.comand we'll sort it promptly. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand overall site traffic. This doesn't identify you personally and isn't used to track individuals across other websites.
